Societal Challenges
Childhood Obesity
According to the National Survey of Children's Health, roughly 10 million children, equivalent to the entire population of Greece, ages 6-17 had obesity from 2022-2023.


Lack of After-School Care
In 2020, 70% of children in Los Angeles would have been enrolled in an after-school program if one were available, 56% in California and 50% nationwide.

Mental Health
Approximately 20% of U.S. children ages 3-17 years old has a mental, emotional, behavioral or developmental disorder according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. 10% or 2.5 million youth, cope with severe major depression.


Our Impact
Participants will learn the basics of exercise, also healthy eating habits, becoming more conscious about their food choices. These are the first steps to maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Exercise releases endorphins, endocannabinoids and dopamine. These neurotransmitters can block pain, induce a calm euphoria and pleasurable sensations.
Studies have shown

This program will help provide a safe and productive environment for youth who otherwise would have nowhere to go and nothing to do.
The hours from 2 to 6 p.m. are peak time for juvenile crime in California according to the Fight Crime: Invest in Kids organization.After school programs keep kids safe and help them turn that time into an opportunity to realize their potential.Programs help kids get excited about learning, attend school more often, get better grades and communication, teamwork and problem solving skills.



What About Our Girls?
How we encourage younger girls to participate in healthy physical activity



Many girls shy away from going to the gym and lifting weights. They fear that by working out they'll inevitably build a large "bulky" physique. At Nvn Fitness Academy we educate youth on the different modes of training, including strength training, mostly used by athletes and powerlifters, and hypertrophy (muscle growth) training, which is used by bodybuilders and those pursing aesthetic results. We also emphasize the role diet and nutrition play in changing your physique.

From this, young girls will understand that you can build strength and improve fitness without gaining excessive muscle mass. This will lead to more girls having the confidence to exercise and improve their performance, resulting in more participation in sports as a result o better athelticism.

Program Templates

Build Muscle & Strength
A workout template designed by fitness trainers, consisting of exercises and routines that emphasize muscle hypertrophy (growth) and strength. Each program will be slightly adjusted to accommodate the individual student’s needs and equipment available.

Increase Stamina & Endurance
A workout template designed by personal trainers, consisting of drills, cardio routines and exercises that increase the VO2 max (maximal oxygen consumption) during physical activity. Each program will be slightly adjusted to accommodate the individual student’s needs and equipment available.
